How do I order a Personalised Book?
Select the book or books you wish to purchase and fill out the required information requested. Please make sure all information is correct before submitting your order.
What information is needed for a Personalised Book?
When you add a book to the shopping cart, our website will prompt you for all the necessary information. For most books, we'll need to know the child's gender, first and last names, hometown, and the names of 1 to 3 friends. There are some titles that require more information (such as birthdate for the birthday books). You may also give us optional information such as age, middle name and the name the child is called (such as a nickname). If we have questions, we'll contact you to confirm your order prior to production.
How long does it take to receive my book?
We require at least 3 days from receipt of order to create the book. After that 3 day period, shipping time will depend on what method of shipping you choose.
Do you accept payment by check?
We do accept payment by check. Please be aware that we will not start to process your order until we have received the check and it has cleared. Once your check has cleared, allow 3 days from receipt of order to create the book and any shipping time dependent upon the method you choose.
How do I pay by credit card?
We use Authorize.NET to process all credit card transactions. Authorize.NET is a leading payment gateway since 1996, and accepts credit cards and electronic payments safely and securely for our customers. We currently accept Visa, Master Card and Discover.
Do you ship to addresses outside of the United Kingdom?
Currently this store only ships to the United Kingdom, please visit our USA store for shipping in the United States
What if I receive my book and there is an error?
If the error is made by MyFairyTaleBooks, We will replace your order free of charge. If the error is due to information you supplied to us incorrectly, you will need to re-order the book.
Can I request my child’s name for a CD?
If your child’s name is unavailable, it cannot be processed. Only the names available on the site can be used.
Will you share my information with anyone else?
No! We value your privacy and that of the children for whom you are purchasing books. We will only use the information you provide us to fulfill your order. Occasionally, we will email you information about our new products and specials. You may opt out of these by emailing us with “unsubscribe” in the subject line.
Do I have to pay VAT?

Yes, our books are quality hardback cover books, with a film laminated surface on each one.
Are the illustrations inkjet printed or are they professionally printed on a full size printing press?
All the illustrations have been printed by a professional printing company for permanent full color pages. MyFairyTaleBooks sells books which are keepsakes and will last a lifetime.
